1:55 pm	Just as a reminder, I'm going to be gone for about a week, starting tomorrow. I'll be in Indiana and away from the internet. Also, my mother found what she did with my birth cert. Not that I really gave a good goddamn when she woke me at ten to tell me that, as I had set my alarm clock to wake me up at eleven. Also, I don't have time to spend three fucking hours taking the test for a learner's permit today. Not if I'm going to do the other shit she wants me to do and get stuff I need to do done. 3:39 pm	Mom and I got our goal of filling twelve bags of leaves today. That takes care of half the backyard. Barely managed it though. Both because we hurt now and because it started raining when we were almost done with the last bag. Anyway, I'm currently waiting for the painkillers to set in. 10:18 pm	Apparently, the boot up problems are due to old crap in the registry needing cleaning out. Dad said the program he used found (and presumably fixed) a little over a hundred errors. O_o. Also, the yard has been mowed for the first time in ages since we finally have a working mower again. Yay. More important news is that I'll be going to Indiana on Nov. 7th and will be gone for about a week. I think. I can't quite remember how long. Guess who gets to work on resetting her sleep schedule to 'normal' patterns? Ick. That'll be fun. I already know that I won't have internet access while I'm gone, so I'll be using the time to catch up on some of my massive backup of comics and not quite so bad book backlog. I'm going to Indiana partly to help Dad with some stuff and partly so I can have a chance to actually visit relatives. 9:17 pm	I Actually Left The House Today. Whoo. Mom and I went to the comicbook store to get comics. They didn't have anything for her or Sarah, but they did have my stuff. Including a title I thought I cancelled having on my pull list last time. (It's off now.) I am now down to one Marvel title. In a sea of DC. And some of those titles will be going byebye soon because they're 3, 6, or 8 issue things. Speaking of DC, saw a SUV with a license plate that said DC JOKER while we were on our way to PetsMart for kitty food, litter, etc. After that was Ruby Tuesday for supper, Mom looking for something in a crafts store--I stayed in the car with a book--, Giant, and now back home. I've decided that now when I get cds with songs I have MP3s of, the songs will be going into the regular MP3 posts. So the weeks that happens, the songs that get to go byebye, get posted first and the songs at the end of the top ten that would have otherwise been posted get bumped down to survive to get posted some other time. Why is this relevant to this post? It's because that's why the first two songs are by Massive Attack. I also already have a few new MP3s to get tossed out at people at whatever point their turns come up. Not to mention, I'm now crossposting these posts to JF. Yaaaaaaay. 10:00 pm	My cat horked up a hairball right on the middle of my bedspread last night. Also, I mowed the backyard today. Intended to also vacuum the hall and my room but didn't get to that. I have the feeling that I get to have the joy of mowing the front yard tomorrow. Let's see. For something not lame/boring... I'm currently reading the Coruscant Nights trilogy. I'm done with the first two books and am about halfway through the third one. It's basically wrapping together plot threads deliberately left dangling in certain other books as well having its own. Not that you have to read the other ones; while the extra background might help for seeing the bigger picture, the world won't end if you don't read them first, IMO. ...Right.
